Macduff, son of Martinus, is the main protagonist in Crimson Desert and the character whom players control as they progress through the single-player story.
Overview
Macduff is the leader of a ragtag band of mercenaries. He is a man in constant turmoil, struggling with the responsibilities of leadership and the survival of those who rely on him. He has a tragic past, that no matter how hard he tries, he cannot escape.
Several of the main characters in the game are members of Macduff's mercenary band, so their fates are deeply intertwined with the decisions that Macduff (and by extension, the player) makes.[1]
